Talent Search Outreach Coordinator

Pamela Orange was born and raised in Chicago, IL.  Ms. Orange is the youngest of three and a mother of one son…family is a huge part of her life.  Ms. Orange is an alum of Southern Illinois Carbondale, where she received her BA in Radio/Television Broadcasting and a Minor in Speech Communications.  She also received her MS from SIU in Rehab Administration and Counseling.

Before working for 3 Seeds, Ms. Orange worked in child welfare and community-based counseling for over ten years.

Ms. Orange is a lover of all sports, and if you know her, you will know she has a love for baseball.  It could be because she is a bit biased. After all, her son does play college baseball.

Ms. Orange’s favorite quote is, “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.”  – Mae West

  • If I were a superhero – what would my superpower be:  Steadfastness!  I want to have the ability to keep going even when it is difficult.  This field of work can sometimes become overwhelming, and I want to inspire those with whom I come in contact not to give up and keep going.
  • The most important thing I learned in HS was gratitude and kindness will open many doors for you.  This attitude afforded me two scholarships I didn’t have to apply for.
  • A movie title for the story of my life is The Pursuit of Happiness
  • My favorite word in the English language is…impossible for me to pick just one!
  • If I could change one thing in the world, it would be to change the way people look and treat each other.  I would add kindness as a “way of life.”
